Enjoyable day, thanks to my classmate for 8 years, Vijay Shirke. A difficult man to locate, except at home. His brother told me at 1300 that all his horses were on full try and except for Martinique-which is soon to be sold-all his other horses would win. Capri would place, so that gave me the Catharsis-Smart Strider-Capri Tanala/Quinella/FC/SHP-the works.
SOLID ROCK was a super Place, TOLSTOY came in at 7/2, with Helen SHP, FC/Quinella.
DEMONSTRATOR was a day-making 12/1 win and 4/1 P, lost on Banana Boy, Daffodils was a super Place at 11/4, Sheriff was hit on opening at 33/10, Hachiko made mincemeat of the fancied ones at 5/1, Home Alone was at 11/4 and Starlight Magic reached 13/4 before being slammed.
